Dhikala is the most popular zone of Jim Corbett National Park. It is located at the core area of the Park. One can hear roaring of tigers and trumpets of elephants from the accommodation centre of Dhikala Forest Lodge. Main Dhikala Lodge is 33 kms far away from Dhangari Gate and Dhangari Gate is 19 kms. Far from Ramnagar town. Dhikala Forest Lodge is located right in centre of Corbett National Park along the bank of river Ramganga.

Total accommodation facility is only for 240 persons in Dhikala Forest Lodge. There is not any luxurious and sweet room at Dhikala Forest Lodge but real wildlife lover feels comfortable at the forest lodge. Rooms have Coolers and running hot waters (with solar) in Bath rooms.

Restaurant, Canteen and a small general store facility is available at Dhikala. A good quality food served in buffet system with a variety of food. Tourist can take food in Canteen at affordable prices.
Library and Amphitheatre:
One small library & reading room is also available at Dhikala where one can get information about the history and wildlife of Corbett park. One more attraction of this park is Amphitheatre where every evening one can enjoy the wildlife movies.
Adventurous Activities:
Tourist come to this park specially for wildlife adventure to watch wild animals. A watch tower beside a waterhole mostly 1 km far from the Dhikala accommodation centre. Elephant Safari and Jeep Safari are other activity in the park.

Dhikala is the most popular zone of Corbett National Park. It is the main administration station of the Jim Corbett National Park. This park is famous for various wild animals Tiger, Elephants, Wild Boars, Deer, Barking Deer, Jackal, Crocodile, Ghariyal many more.
No private vehicles are allowed inside the park, without forest rest house booking at Dhikala or the nearby forest rest house such as Khinnauli, Sarpdulli, Gairal, Sultan. The only option to visit the park by day safari is Canter Safari.
