Flora / Fauna in Jim Corbett National Park

Jim Corbett National Park is not only famous for its wildlife adventure but it is also famous for its natural beauty. This park spread more than 520 sq. km.

Main Flora in Jim Corbett :

The important flora of the Jim Corbett National Park is evergreen Sal, Sheesam, Dhak, Semal, Kanju ber, and Bael. Other important trees in the Jim Corbett National Park are the occasional Simal, Khairthat, Jhingan and flowers in the spring season, just before the starting of summer season.

Mammals :

Tiger, Leopard, Elephant, Hog deer, Spotted deer, Samber, Braking deer, Langoor, Wild boar, and monkeys.

Birds :

Peacock, Jungle fowl, Partidges, Kaleej, Crow, Vulture, Drongo, Doves, Woodpeckers, Ducks, Teals, Storks, Cormorants Parakeets, Laughing thrush, Orioles, Kingfishers and Seagulls.

Reptiles :

Indian Marsh crocodile or Mugger Gharial, King Cobra Common Krait Cobra, Russel Viper and Python.

Pisces :

Mahaseer, Kalimuchi, Kalabasu, Chilwa and Goonch.
