Best Places to Visit in Jim Corbett National Park

Jim Corbett Museum (Kaladhungi):

Jim Corbett museum is situated at Kaladhungi town. This place is 26km. far from main Ramnagar city toward Nainital. This is one of the famous place to visit during the Corbett National Park Tour. Corbett Museum is in a heritage bungalow of Mr. Jim Corbett.

Corbett Wildlife Museum (Dhangarhi):

This museum is placed at Dhangarhi. This museum has glass boxes containing head of tigers and elephants, killed in fight long back. You can also see there the belonging and life history of Mr. Jim Corbett.

Corbett falls:

This beautiful fall is placed at 3km from Kaladhungi. This water fall is small sight but brilliant. It’s height approximately 58 feet and it is in backdrop of the scenic greenish forest. You can take a nature bath in the fall. The zone is admired like a campsite with a great diversity of plants and the birds. The area around the water tomb provides a very good parking and installations of camp-site. This is very pleasant picnic spot.

Garjiya Temple:

This famous temple is 16 km far from Ramnagar. This temple is situated over a huge rock in the midst of river Kosi. Every year thousands of devotees come to this place. On Kartik Poornima a large fair held on this place.

Dhikala:

Dhikala is very famous tourist destination in Corbett. It is located at the edge of the vast valley of Dun Patli Ramganga. It is around 40 kms North West of Ramnagar.

Bijrani:

Bijrani gate is another place in Corbett Park which permits day visits. At British period it was very famous for game hunting.
